Celebrating My First Ballet: Swan Lake’s success in London’s West End
1st May 2024 09:36

Last month we were thrilled that our Second Year and Professional Trainee students had the chance to perform in the return of My First Ballet: Swan Lake. Thousands of audience members of all ages came to see our talented students take to the stage for this specially adapted version of the most famous of ballets.

We were also delighted to welcome our Patron, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice, who attended one of the performances and came backstage to meet the cast and our Artistic Director Viviana Durante after the show.

The two-week run at the Peacock Theatre was a hit with audiences and critics alike, here’s a sample of some of the feedback the performances received.

A must see for adults and their young ones” A Young(ish) Perspective

“Short, sweet and definitely an Easter treat.” The Arbuturian

“a must-see for families seeking to create cherished memories together.” London Mums

The My First Ballet series, which introduces young audiences to the joy of live dance, is unique to ENBS, offering our students, as part of their course, the experience of working professionally for the first time. Working with ENB on My First is one of the highlights of our year and we look forward to returning to the Peacock Theatre next Easter.
