Spend your summer at English National Ballet School

Experience life as a pre-professional dancer at English National Ballet School, studying with the School’s own expert staff, as well as invited guest teachers. 

The full teaching line-up has yet to be announced, but guest teachers include Ibrahim Onal, Estela MerlosMorgann Runacre-Temple, Matz Skoog and Stephen Wicks.

Students will enjoy daily ballet class, learn notable repertoire essential to all dancers’ portfolios, take contemporary, as well as take part in workshops and a Q&A session.  

Course Information

Our Summer Intensive Courses are designed to give young aspiring dancers a taste of professional studies at English National Ballet School. Taught by a world class faculty of teachers, including our current ENBS staff, students will have the opportunity to attend two or four weeks of training at our School in Chelsea. Students will follow a timetable reflective of full-time training at the School, preparing them for life as a versatile pre-professional dancer.  The full course faculty will be announced in due course and is subject to change.

Dates

Course 1 - 22nd July - 3rd August 24
Course 2 - 5th August - 17th August 24
 

If accepted, students will have the opportunity to attend either one or both Intensive Courses.

Accommodation

The Summer Intensive Courses are non-residential and so students are responsible for securing their own accommodation. The Course will take place at English National Ballet School’s main premises, Carlyle Building, Hortensia Road, Chelsea, London, SW10 0QS.

Application Guidelines

  • Male and female students must be aged between 13 years, 0 months - 17 years, 11 months on 31 August 2024 or in the equivalent of Years 8-12 in the UK 2023- 2024 academic year.
  • All applicants must complete an online application form and submit photographs in support of their application.
  • Applicants will be selected for the course based on the information in their application and through their photographs.
