Boys' Workshop

This popular annual event is designed to inspire and motivate aspiring male-identifying ballet dancers. With a unique opportunity to train alongside our hard working students, in classes led by ENBS faculty, you'll gain an exclusive insight into life as professional ballet student. You'll experience the daily training rigours and learn what is expected from a professional ballet student.

What to Expect

Participants will join our first year boys’ class, learning directly from our esteemed first year boys’ teacher. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into the rigorous yet rewarding training provided at the English National Ballet School.

Where is it held?

Students will train at the ENBS studios in Hortensia Road, Chelsea, London.

Whether you aspire to pursue ballet professionally or simply wish to deepen your understanding and skills, this experience day is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired. 

Early registration is encouraged as places are limited. 

Application Guidance

Who should apply? 

Placements on the experience day are open to male identifying individuals. Students must be in UK school Years 10 to 13, with at least three years of dance training and able to dance at an intermediate level. Students who are already in full time training at a vocational ballet school are also welcome.
