Fees & Financial Support

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for 2025-206 will be confirmed in due course.
Tuition fees for 2024-25 are £21,891.00.

Tuition fees may rise in the following years but will remain in line with government regulations.


Additional Costs

Due to the nature of our vocational and elite training on our course, students will need to budget for additional costs whilst training at ENBS.

Additional costs may include:

  • £200.00 acceptance fee – due when accepting an offer.
  • £2000.00 deposit – due when accepting an offer (students eligible for a DaDA award are not required to pay this deposit.
  • Costs incurred by completing the necessary medical documents. Finalists will be required to have relevant medical forms completed by their GP. Prices vary.
  • £250.00 - £450.00 for school uniform.
  • £1,575.00 (estimated) for private medical insurance per each year of student
  • £50.00 (estimated) for preventive screening for Vitamin D deficiency.
  • £490.00 to apply for a Student Visa from outside the UK – more information can be found here. (international students only).
  • Cost of the healthcare surcharge as part of the Student Visa – more information can be found here. (international students only).
  • Cost of the IELTS for UKVI English test – more information can be found here. (international students only).
  • Any other costs incurred by the Student Visa (international students only).
  • £400.00-£500.00 (estimated) per year for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes.
  • £150.00 (TBC) female students may also be required to purchase a tutu.

Students will also need to budget for rent and maintenance costs. Please note that ENBS does not provide accommodation.

Bursaries

Wherever possible, ENBS works with individuals and grant-making trusts to provide bursaries to students in financial need. The level of support may vary from year to year and are limited in number.

If you require financial assistance to attend ENBS, please let us know in confidence when you apply to the School or before you accept an offer of a place from the School.


Talent Scholarships

English National School strives for diversity and wants to ensure that talented young dancers worldwide can train with us regardless of their financial circumstances. Every year ENBS provides financial assistance bursaries and scholarships.

ENBS has a limited number of scholarships available to the most talented students. These scholarships awards are to help cover the cost of tuition fees. Scholarships are awarded at the Artistic Director's discretion and are based solely on talent.

We aim to inform successful candidates if they are being awarded a Talent Scholarship at the point of an offer being made.

 

Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA)

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) offers a number of means-tested awards for students undertaking Further Education Dance and Drama courses, known as Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA).

To be eligible for a DaDA award, you must have been living in the UK, the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Gibraltar for the past 3 years.

You must also be one of the following:

  • a UK or Irish citizen
  • a family member of a UK National - you must both have both been living in the UK, the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein for the past 3 years
  • a migrant worker from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein or the family member of a migrant worker from one of these countries and both have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme
  • a person granted indefinite leave to remain
  • the child of a Turkish worker who has permission to stay in the UK

You could get a Dance and Drama Award (DaDA) to help with fees and living costs. The amount you may received depends on:

  • your household income
  • where you live and study

Budgeting

For most of our students, this will be the first time they will have lived independent and will need to create a budget for the first time, to support themselves whilst they live in London.
