My First Ballet: Cinderella National Tour, Spring 2026

English National Ballet and English National Ballet School are delighted to announce the return of the My First Ballet series with a brand-new production of Cinderella, touring nationally in spring 2026.

Since its creation in 2012, more than 370,000 people have enjoyed the My First Ballet series, which opens the magical world of ballet to children as young as three, making it one of the most popular family ballet shows in the UK.

A Magical First Step into Ballet

My First Ballet: Cinderella is a specially adapted version of the classic fairytale, created with children and families experiencing ballet for the first time. The story follows nature loving Cinderella, who lives on the edge of an enchanted forest where she once gardened and sang with her mother. When she is left in the care of her sharp tongued stepmother and noisy stepsisters, everything changes with the arrival of an invitation to the Garden Ball. Guided by the spirit of her mother and the magic of the forest, Cinderella embarks on a journey of self discovery and transformation.

This enchanting reimagining is choreographed by George Williamson and performed by English National Ballet School students and Graduate Artists. With a narrator to help young audiences follow the story, beautiful costumes, and a shortened version of Prokofiev’s famous score, it is the perfect introduction for families looking for ballet performances in London and across the UK.
