Lydia Rose Hough

Originally from Scunthorpe in the North of England, Lydia Hough trained at Joyce Mason Dance Academy and The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge, before joining English National Ballet School in 2022.

Her time at ENBS was filled with unforgettable moments, from dancing the Principal Sylph in La Sylphide and performing in English National Ballet’s The Nutcracker, to stepping on stage at the Linbury Theatre, The Wallace Collection, and most memorably, portraying Odette and Odile in My First Ballet: Swan Lake at the Peacock Theatre. Lydia also won Silver and the Audience Choice Award at the RAD’s Fonteyn International Ballet Competition.

In 2025 Lydia began her professional career in with the award-winning London City Ballet.
