Emily Suzuki
Born in Saitama, Japan, Emily Suzuki trained at Acri Horimoto Ballet Academy before joining English National Ballet School. She joined English National Ballet in 2016 and has since progressed through the Company, being promoted to Junior Soloist in 2022, Soloist in 2024, and First Soloist in 2025.
Her repertoire includes the Ice Queen in Watkin and Smith’s Nutcracker; Carmen in Johan Inger’s Carmen; Myrtha in Mary Skeaping’s Giselle; the title role in Akram Khan’s Giselle; Daughter in Mats Ek’s The Rite of Spring; the Chosen One in Pina Bausch’s Le Sacre du printemps; Marie in Khan’s Creature; the Ratchuli in Tamara Rojo’s Raymonda; Lead Villager in Anna-Marie Holmes’s Le Corsaire; Stina Quagebeur’s Hollow; and William Forsythe’s Blake Works I and Playlist (EP).
