ENBS Celebrates First Corporate Partnership With Auriens Chelsea

English National Ballet School is delighted to announce its first ever corporate partnership, formed with Auriens Chelsea, whose generous support will fund a life changing scholarship for a first year student throughout their three year professional training programme.

This landmark partnership is especially meaningful as both Auriens Chelsea and ENBS are based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, reflecting a shared commitment to community, opportunity, and nurturing the next generation of exceptional young dancers.

“We are delighted to be partnering with the English National Ballet School, an established and beloved institution within the arts world and one very familiar to Auriens Chelsea and our residents. We are proud to provide the chosen student with the opportunity to develop their skills and look forward to following their journey throughout their education at the School and beyond. Our residents will take great pleasure in engaging with the student’s training and attending performances and rehearsals as part of our wider programme of cultural events.” – Patricia Greenwood, Director of Partnerships at Auriens Chelsea.

The scholarship recipient, selected by Auriens Chelsea residents for their outstanding technical and creative potential, is already embarking on their first year. Many Auriens residents are long standing members of the borough and familiar with ENBS’s work, making this partnership a natural alignment of local pride, cultural engagement, and support for young talent.

This collaboration will open new opportunities for residents to engage with ENBS students and faculty. As part of the partnership, residents will be invited to attend rehearsals, masterclasses with visiting choreographers, and events led by the ENBS artistic team.

“Embarking on our first corporate partnership with Auriens Chelsea is an exciting milestone for our school. This partnership is especially meaningful as both Auriens and ENBS are based in Chelsea, reflecting our shared commitment to community, opportunity, and nurturing the next generation of exceptional young dancers.” – Amanda Skoog, Executive Director of ENBS.

Auriens Chelsea residents, many whom have a shared love and passion for ballet also expressed their excitement about the partnership.

“We are delighted that Auriens will be supporting a first year student throughout their three year professional training programme at the English National Ballet School. As a former dancer myself, I feel especially proud that we, as residents of Auriens Chelsea, can help nurture such exceptional young talent at this renowned institution, just minutes from our own home. We’re looking forward to following the student’s journey and engaging more deeply with the School’s inspiring work through rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances.” – Mrs Prior, Auriens resident.

Former ENBS student Zai Calliste, a 2025 graduate, and now an Artist with English National Ballet also reflected on the significance of donor support.

“Training at ENBS was only possible because of my sponsors; their belief in me truly changed my life. I’m incredibly grateful, and it’s wonderful to see the next cohort of students being supported throughout their training.”

This new partnership with Auriens Chelsea, a leader in independent later living, marks an exciting chapter in the School’s ongoing mission to widen access to elite training, strengthen community connections, and support exceptional young dancers as they work toward professional careers.
