Making a welcome return to the stage, our 2021 Summer Performances will see our students perform in front of a live audience at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre in the 16 and 17 July.
The programme for the performances will include Les Rendezvous by renowned choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton, restaged by Christopher Carr from The Royal Ballet and performed by the graduating Third Year students. Students completing the School’s Professional Trainee Programme perform new work, Gods Away on Business by choreographer and filmmaker Morgann Runacre-Temple.
The Summer Performances will also see us welcome back the three choreographers involved in last year’s Virtual Summer Performance. Andrew McNicol has created a new work Grace and Gravity for the First Year students while the Second Year students perform Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Memorias del Dorado. Didy Veldman builds on her virtual creation, Not so Strictly, featuring students from across all year groups and those on the Professional Trainee Programme.
As one of the world’s leading ballet schools we prepare the finest young dancers for a lifetime of achievement, providing students with the confidence, creativity and skills for a career as a professional dancer with major international ballet companies.
Please note that due to Covid-19 the theatre is operating a reduced capacity. Tickets are being offered to parents as a priority before being made available for public sale.
