English National Ballet School has students from no fewer than eighteen different countries around the world. Transition for international students can have additional implications, such as cultural differences and a language barrier. We provide welfare support and an international students programme which is designed to help students settle into their new surroundings, adjust to life at school and living in London. In addition, we offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) support for those that need it.
The School requires overseas students to have knowledge of English language. We expect all EU students to have attained (or provide evidence that they are working towards) level of B1 on the Common European Framework for Languages – for further information see here. www.examenglish.com.
For non-EU students, level of B1 on the Common European Framework for Languages is a legal requirement to obtain a study visa to enter the UK and you will not be able obtain a visa without this.
