Tuition fees for 2021-22 are £19,200. 


English National School strives for diversity and wants to ensure that talented young dancers worldwide have the opportunity to train with us regardless of their financial circumstances. Every year the School provides some financial assistance bursaries and scholarships.

Financial Assistance Bursaries

English National Ballet School works with some individuals and grant-making trusts to provide a number of bursaries to students in financial need. The level of support may vary from year to year and are limited in number. If you require financial assistance to attend ENBS, please let us know in confidence when you apply to the School or before you accept an offer of a place from the School.

Talent Scholarships

English National Ballet School has a limited number of scholarships available to the most talented students. These scholarships awards are to help cover the cost of tuition fees. Scholarships are awarded at the Artistic Director's discretion and are based solely on talent. 

Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA)

The Education Funding Agency offers a number of awards for Students undertaking Further Education dance and drama courses. These are known as Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA).  Students who are UK nationals, and who have lived in the UK for the past three years, are aged 16, 17 or 18 at the start of the course and who’s household income was less than £90,001 for the year April 2020 to March 2021, can apply for a Dance and Drama Award (DaDA). The 2020-21 contribution towards fees for a DaDA student ranges from £0 to £7,175 depending on household income. 

Application for tuition fees will be assessed against student’s family household income for the period commencing 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021. Students who normally live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland may also qualify for help with their living costs and expenses associated with attending their course, if household income is less than £30,000.
